You Are More Than a Body
The Word of God tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:23
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Spirit. Soul. Body. Three distinct parts, and God desires that all three be made whole.
At First Nations Clinic, we take that seriously. We do not treat just the body. We believe that true healing, lasting healing, must touch the whole person.
Faith Over Fear
Your Times Are in God’s Hands
We understand that when you or someone you love faces a serious illness, fear can feel overwhelming. You may wonder: How long do I have? What does this mean for my future? Is there any hope?
We want you to hear something that has brought comfort to God’s people for thousands of years. King David wrote in Psalm 31:15:
“My times are in Your hands.”
— Psalm 31:15, King David
Your times are not in the hands of a disease. They are not in the hands of a doctor, a prognosis, or a statistic.
And in Psalm 68:20, the Scripture declares:
“Unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.”
— Psalm 68:20
God alone holds the issues of life and death. He is the God of salvation. He is the God of deliverance.
That does not mean we do nothing. It means we do everything — medicine, prayer, community, healing — but we place our faith not in those things, but in the One who holds all things.
Eternal Perspective
Understanding Our Appointed Time
The Bible does not shy away from the reality of death. In Hebrews 9:27, Scripture tells us:
“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
— Hebrews 9:27
Every person who has ever lived has an appointed time. That truth is not meant to frighten us — it is meant to free us.
It means that your life cannot be cut short before its time by any disease, any accident, or any circumstance that falls outside the sovereign hand of God. And it means that the most important question any of us can answer is not how long will I live, but where will I spend eternity?
The Promise of Jesus
The Abundant Life Jesus Promised
Jesus himself spoke directly about why He came. In John 10:10, He said:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
— John 10:10
Abundant life. Life that exceeds all expectation.
Not just survival. Not just managing symptoms. But a life that is richer, fuller, and more meaningful, even in the middle of difficulty. That is the life Jesus came to give. And it is available to you, today, regardless of what you are facing.
